Rainstick Rhythm.mp4
Possibly the most “out there” exercise is one using a rainstick to direct breath. That said, you’ll be surprised to learn how rhythm, sound, music and the like can help your clients tune in to their own cadence and focus on their breathing. This can serve as a means to regulating their nervous system and or energizing their state of mind at the time. Be aware that some clients will not respond positively to sound. In the event that this happens, let it go – your focus is on the well-being of the client, not the magic of an exercise :).
