I had a problem.

I had taught the fundamentals, progressed to the exercises and I had hit a plateau with my client. It was clear to me that more exercises weren’t going to be the answer – she didn’t really need more stuff to do, but rather, more choices of how to approach the stuff. I knew that if I could expand her perspectives to understand more about how her body inhabited space, we could begin to explore the options she had for her movement. But, I couldn’t quite figure out how to design a new experience with the equipment that we had been using all along. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So, I invented one. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I invented the #DUET roller accessory system to help my clients start a conversation with the parts of their body that they may not even know are there: the sides of the ribs, the center line of the glutes, and the space between the shoulder blades and the spine, to name a few. What began as an exploration in supine, quickly developed into prone, seated and side-lying discoveries. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
